Dr Lego returned to private practice in 1996 sharing an interest in occlusion, Temporomandibular Dysfunction and patterns of dental deterioration commensurate with Sleep Bruxism.

He consulted at the Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction Clinic, Oral Health Centre, University of Western Australia under the late Dr David McNamara, Prosthodontist, from 2000 to 2010 and recently completed postgraduate studies in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine at the University of Western Australia.

Dr Lego maintains an active interest in the multidisciplinary management of patients with Temporomandibular Dysfunction, Sleep Bruxism and Sleep Disordered Breathing, working closely with Radiologists, Oral Surgeons, Physiotherapists, ENT and Sleep physicians.

With many years of experience, Dr Lego has developed a uniquely different and holistic approach to dental care, with emphasis placed on sleep dysfunction and its impact on dental and overall systemic health.

Appreciating patient needs can often only be quantified with the benefit of time, Dr Lego adopts a more conservative approach, with emphasis placed on informed consent, attention to detail, high clinical standards, value for money and above all, an honest up front approach to dental care, in modern, well equipped facilities.

Disenchanted with mainstream dental care, Dr Lego decided on establishing “Dental Difference”, conveniently located in the Hampden Road precinct, Nedlands, Perth WA.

Dr Lego is a member of the Australasian Sleep Association, remains affiliated with and lectures to numerous professional societies and consults as an expert witness to the Dental Board of Australia.
